Applications to write books in Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu are being accepted by the commission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“UGC is in the process of creating undergraduate science, arts, commerce, and social science textbooks in twelve Indian languages. A senior UGC official stated, “We have established nodal universities in various states that would oversee the endeavor of assembling teams of writers capable of producing textbooks of superior quality in Indian languages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“This effort is in tune with NEP 2020’s goal to provide learning opportunities to students in universities in Indian languages,” said the official.
