IIM Bangalore’s digital learning component IIMBx has unveiled a new course on New Age Business Models. The Ministry of Education’s online learning portal, SWAYAM, provides the venue for this six-week short course. The course is free and designed for all levels of students, including undergraduates, postgraduates studying business management, working professionals, aspiring entrepreneurs, and company owners, according to IIM-B.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Professor K Ganesh, an experienced entrepreneur, and adjunct faculty at IIM-B, created the course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It encompasses recently developed innovative business models such as direct-to-consumer companies, platforms, markets, and aggregators. Industry heavyweights including Shekar Sharma, the CEO and creator of Paytm, Ananth Narayan, the CEO and founder of Mensa Brands, Arun Narayan, the vice president of Tanishq, and Vikram Vaidyanathan, the managing partner, among others,\u00a0are giving lectures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The teaching approach, which combines video lectures, case studies, tests, self-evaluation, and discussion forums, will assist students in comprehending the complex nature of business models and the workings of successful new-age organizations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
