Mangalayatan Online offers an M.A. in political science that covers fundamental topics in classical and modern politics, Indian Governance, comparative political analysis, citizenship, and research techniques. The primary focus ensures a balanced approach to preparing students for professional roles in administrative fields.
The Master of Arts in Political Science provides advanced knowledge in international relations, public policy, political theory, and related areas to enhance students’ academic, government, and international organization experience.
Through introductory political science courses, students will learn about the Indian political diaspora, urban politics, Western influences, and contemporary political theory, thereby developing cross-cultural knowledge and analytical abilities to reframe governance policies.
In the second semester, the works of notable political thinkers are examined to support comparative political analysis and to understand governance and public policy in India. The semester modules integrate sustainable approaches to resolve social issues.
In the third semester, students will study democratic India, Indian political thought, contemporary debates in political theory, research methodology, and political sociology to address key issues and concepts.
